THE KOSH is a long-form interview podcast hosted by Timber Smith in Oshkosh, Wisconsin — nearly 200 conversations with the people who run, build, teach, heal, and lead in the Fox Valley: school superintendents, sheriffs, founders, nonprofit directors, artists, and neighbors with something to say. For over five years, THE KOSH has been creating conversations — and the partnerships and relationships that grow out of them — across this community, one guest at a time.
The audience: a loyal local following across Oshkosh, the Fox Valley, and Northeast Wisconsin — civic leaders, educators, business owners, and engaged residents who serve on boards, fund projects, hire, and vote. These conversations shape how this community understands itself and who it listens to. Sponsors don't buy impressions here. They buy association with the room where the community talks to itself — and the trust that comes with it.
The most-listened conversations: school leadership (Oshkosh Area School District), juvenile mental health, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, small-town development, and local entrepreneurship.

- Your name, logo, and link on the episode page and the sponsors page
- One thank-you post on THE KOSH social channels
Series Underwriter — $100 per four-episode run
- Everything above, across a run of four episodes (currently about two months of shows)

Terms (plain and simple)
- Payment by check or card; sponsorships are advertising, not tax-deductible donations

- Any sponsor Timber wouldn't introduce to his own guests doesn't run
Why it works for a local business
Your customers are his listeners' neighbors, employees, board colleagues, and clients. One episode lives forever in the archive — a sponsorship mentioned in a 2023 conversation is still being heard in 2026. That's not an ad buy; that's a permanent place in the community's record of itself.
